Well, bust my buttons! I just got another award! One day after getting the One Lovely Blog Award from one lovely Simoa, the wonderful Virginie over at The Wonderful World of Cinema (I'm so clever) nominated me for the Sunshine Blogger Award. Thank you, Virginie! You're much too generous!

The Sunshine Blogger Award is pretty similar to the Liebster. The rules are:

- Answer the 11 questions posed by the blog that nominated you.

- Nominate 11 other blogs.

- Ask 11 questions of my own for my nominees to answer.

Here are Virginie's questions:

1) Except for the USA… which country do you think makes the most interesting and worthy movies?

I'm not a big fan of foreign films, but French cinema really intrigues me, especially after studying it this summer. I need to see much more, but so far my favorite French filmmakers are Jean-Luc Godard and Jacques Demy. The New Wave is also one of the richest pieces of cinematic history.

2. If your life had to be like a movie, which movie would you choose?

Any musical would be fantastic, particularly one that included Gene Kelly and/or Fred Astaire popping up in my life. Yes, please!

3. Which movie star inspires you the most? It doesn’t necessarily have to be your favorite.

Katharine Hepburn, all day, every day.

4. What is your favorite catastrophe movie of the '70s (the golden decade of catastrophe movies)?

I actually haven't seen any of those because, to me, they just look terrible. The only one I would really consider watching is The Towering Inferno because the combination of Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, William Holden, and Fred Astaire fascinates me.

5. To you, who is the most iconic actress of all time and the most iconic actor of all time?

Because you said "iconic," I would have to go with two people who are still constantly referred to: Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart.

6. Is there a book you would like to see a movie adaptation of? Who would star in it?

Not really. A lot of the fiction books I read have already been made into movies, and modern biopics about old Hollywood stars are rarely done the way they should be.

7. Do you think Audrey Hepburn made her best movies with Billy Wilder, William Wyler or Stanley Donen?

I still haven't seen Two for the Road, so for now I'll give the edge to Billy Wilder. After all, Sabrina is my second favorite film.

8. If you had the chance to own all the costumes of one movie, which one would it be?

Ginger Rogers's wardrobe from Carefree! I'll be doing a big post about all of her and Fred's costumes in three weeks, so look out for that. You can also read my review of Carefree here.

9. What do you think was the prettiest Oscar dress?

So much Audrey in this post!

10. The ugliest?

11. If you could go back in time, what would you change from movie history? But you can choose only ONE thing.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the racism. Different times, I know, but still. Come on. It was bad.
